Musical titan Quincy Jones, the composer and producer who added his tasteful polish to recordings by everyone from Ray Charles to Frank Sinatra to Michael Jackson, has died, according to his representatives. He was 91.
Quincy Jones died at age 91. His publicist says he died Sunday night at his home in Los Angeles. Jones’ historic career ranged from producing Michael Jackson’s record-setting “Thriller” to prize-winning film and television scores and collaborations with Frank Sinatra and Ray Charles.

Mr. Van Der Beek, who played Dawson Leery in the ’90s drama, told People Magazine that he had been diagnosed with and was being treated for colorectal cancer.
“I’m in a good place and feeling strong,” the “Dawson’s Creek” actor wrote on Instagram. “It’s been quite the initiation, and I’ll tell you more when I’m ready.”
