After the Alec Baldwin movie turned into the scene of a tragedy with the death of its cinematographer, the film will debut next month at a festival that celebrates cinematography.
“While I’ve never wanted to die, the thought of leaving my tortured body was a relief,” Fiona MacDonald wrote. She died three years after she was diagnosed with a motor neuron disease.
The festival premiere will be the first time “Rust” is screened following an on-set shooting incident, though it’s still unclear when it will open in theaters.
